My friend and I are looking for deals to go white water rafting and looking for any suggested places. We both are looking to go July 30th to Aug. 3rd. Location really doesn’t matter although Alaska would be nice, but we are mainly looking for an adventure rather than being picky of the place.

Sorry…a four to five day raft trip with a commercial vendor will be expensive. Labor, equipment, transportation and food are the main costs. Private or independent trips may cost less but will require more personal labor. Shuttles, equipment rental including camping gear, food and cooking are other concerns. Investigate Colorado River trips. Contact the Nantahala Outdoor Center or The Bear Paw Adventure Center. You might enjoy a canoe/kayak school for five days!
