We are planning on visting Alaska from September 1st to 8th. Is the weather going to be too cold? I’m from New England…so if its going to be like the fall weather out here, then I don’t mind ![]()
This time we are not doing any outdoor activities…its going to be mostly driving and seeing places.
Places we are planning to visit are:
1. Anchorage
2. Denali National Park
3. Kenai Fjords National Park (Boat Cruise)
4. Any other place you would recommend??
So what do you think…is it going to be cold out there?

For most of these locations, count on middle 50’s to low 60’s daytime, dropping to 40 at night.
You might also take in the train ride at Skagway but your itinerary is ample for the time spent
