Northern Lights on a Cruise?

poet22_36904 asked:

If I were to take a cruise from Seattle, WA to Alaska, going as far north as Skagway, AK in Late May/Early June, what are my chances of seeing the northern lights? I would really like to see them… but this would be the time I could go…

There is always a chance of seeing the northern lights any time of the year in Southeast Alaska. During late May early June the days are at there longest and there is only a few hours of darkness. Of coarse it will also depend on the Aurora activity. Aurora forecast can be found at
