What should I take with me on a fishing trip to Alaska?

Ravid asked:

I am going on a ten day fishing trip to Alaska with my Dad and Grandpa. I’ve never been there so I wanted to know some things to take I might have overlooked.

During the cold season, plenty of warm clothes, and a clock as time is so much different there.

You did not say where you were fishing.
If you are on the salt water you will need some different things than if you are lake or river fishing. Each place requires it’s own gear and tackle.

My main recomendations would be clothing for warm or cold weather, a camera, bug dope if you’re on land, sturdy shoes and boots, a hat, sunglasses, sun protection (yes you can burn badly here), and a desire to have lots of fun.
